Finished the A2 illustration for phantom by Jasmine Rook. I work from these poems by reading throught them several times and picking out the most visual lines or centerpoints in the development of the poem.

Phantom
That phantom looks worse than I do, what happened to his eyes? I’m paralysed by the way he doesn’t move, the cacophony and the stench of dried flowers that burn without a flicker.
So many addictions but he doesn’t feel anything. I do. I watch him cry out in terror and agony, no sound reaches his tongue. Scattering and fleeting white copious and electric in sheaths black-out showers Finished the Phantom by Jasmine
The faces the masks Dust, and residue stop touching stop touching
They couldn’t know, they ought not to. So many many lines, shadows
